Betty, a resident of St Basil’s Lakemba and her son Tony enjoyed the recent Greek Summer Festival.
Betty’s favourite thing about the festival…
“Mum enjoyed the festival very much especially the music and traditional Greek dancing that was performed on the day,” explains Tony.
“My enjoyment was purely to see my mum having a good time and enjoying herself. Mum was fascinated by how many people were there.”
The annual Greek Summer Festival was organised by under the patronage of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia by St. Basil’s NSW & ACT and held on Sunday 12 February, at Carss Bush Park, Sydney.
The tremendous positive response received from the public, clients, residents and families of St Basil’s confirms that once again the Greek Summer Festival was an overwhelming success, cementing the event as the finest of its kind in Sydney.
