How to Access to Home Care Packages

If you would like some support to continue living at home there are a number of services available to you. These services are usually called “home care” or “in-home care”. These services can partly subsidised by the government and can include:

  • Personal care
  • Home cleaning
  • Transport
  • Meal preparation
  • Nursing care
  • Dementia support
  • Respite
  • Social Support

How can I get a government subsidised Home Care Package?

All Government Funded Services require a referral to My Aged Care. This applies to all Home Care Packages, Lakemba Day Center and Miranda Social Support Group. To access these services you must contact My Aged Care and nominate St. Basil’s as your preferred provider.

How can I access a Day Center or Private Care Services?

Randwick Day Center and Private Services can be accessed directly by contacting St. Basil’s and speaking to our Customer Services Manager.

In Home Care

There is no place like home and many people prefer to live in the comfort of their own home. St. Basil’s offers support services that can help you live at home longer. We work together with you to design and deliver services that support your independence, well being and lifestyle.

St. Basil’s delivers both private and government-subsidized home care services. If you are interested, give us a call and talk with one of our friendly staff. Service may include:

We deliver all four levels of government subsidised Home Care Packages, from low to high. We enable you to make choices and have control over your own individual budget.

St. Basil’s gold, silver and bronze packages allow you to choose your level of contribution to your services.

St. Basil’s Home Care Program is funded and subsidized through the Australian Government Home Care Package Program.
