In line with advice from Australian government health agencies regarding visiting restrictions within our homes due to COVID-19, the following requirements are now in place.

Visitors must follow these rules until further notice:

• All staff and visitors must wear a surgical mask
• A maximum of 2 visitors may be permitted per resident, per day
• Visits should be in resident’s rooms or in allocated spaces assigned by facility management
• Visitors can attend by appointment only

Visitors must not enter the facility if they:

• have been to any close or casual contact locations in NSW
• have been to any close or casual contact in Queensland in the last 14 days
• have been in Victorian places of high concern in the last 14 days. (Visit the Victorian Government Case alerts- public exposure sites to navigate through the dates and venues)
• have been in Greater Melbourne in the previous 14 days
• have COVID-19 symptoms – fever (37. 5°C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19
• are a close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period
• live in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating

• are waiting for a COVID-19 test result
• have not received a dose of the 2021 influenza vaccine (from 1 June 2021), unless they meet the criteria under the exceptional and special circumstances. The flu vaccination requirement applies to all visitors aged 6 months and over. Please read Exceptional circumstances for visiting an Residential Aged Care Facilities .

Approval of resident outings will be determined based on a risk assessment by your Home’s management for each outing request.
