Masks removed: COVID-19 restrictions eased for visitors and staff

The following information applies to our Homes in Kogarah, Kensington, Lakemba, Miranda, Annandale as of 30th March 2021

The current restrictions for visitors of our Residential Aged Care Facilities are;

  • all visitors and staff do not need to wear a mask inside the facility however all screening criteria must be met prior to entry
  • NSW Health also recommends that where social distancing of 1.5 meters cannot be met, then a mask should be worn

The following visitors must be excluded:

  • have COVID-19 symptoms – fever (37. 5°C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19
  • have been to any NSW, Interstate or Overseas locations listed in the current areas of concern at the dates and times listed for 14 days after they have visited the location
  • if you have been in Brisbane or Moreton Bay areas since 11 March, check the Queensland Health website for public health instructions. If any COVID-19 symptoms, however mild, develop you should get tested and self-isolate immediately
  • if you arrive in NSW on or after 12:01am 27 March, and you have been in Brisbane City Council or Moreton Bay Regional Council since 11 March, you must complete a self-declaration form. You must do this if you cross the border by any means including air, road or rail
  • are a close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period
  • live in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating
  • are waiting for a COVID-19 test result
