NSW Health’s latest advice to Residential Aged Care Facilities is that facilities are open to visitors with the
following conditions for the Greater Sydney region;
– a maximum of two people can visit each day may be admitted per resident
– different people may visit each day
– all visitors must wear masks
The following visitors must be excluded:
– have COVID-19 symptoms – fever (37. 5°C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19 (acute blocked nose
congestion has been added to the list of symptoms)
– have been to any of the latest COVID-19 locations in NSW (including the casual contacts list) at the
times and dates listed during the last 14 days, except for the monitor for symptoms list
– live in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating
– are a close contact of a person confirmed with COVID within their self-isolation period
– are waiting for a COVID-19 test result
– are from areas where there has been increased testing unless they are providing essential care to
residents or are attending for compassionate reasons. Areas where there’s increased testing are
Cumberland City Council, Canterbury, Mount Druitt, Northern Beaches Council and Rooty Hill
Please remember that visitors can attend by appointment only.
Note that our Lakemba facility has reverted back to restricted visitation which allows two attendees per visit per resident, once per week.
