COVID vaccination remains our best defence against COVID infection, the associated morbidity and mortality and residential aged care facility lockdowns.
Many facilities in Sydney have a higher proportion of unvaccinated than in the NSW general community. There are also many residents who remain under vaccinated. In an attempt to address this, Sydney Local Health District will be offering a COVID Vaccination Q&A session for families, carers and friends of residential aged care facility residents this week, Wednesday 29/6 at 6 pm.
